Annette Rodriguez Nathan
Integrative Manual Therapist, CranioSacral Therapy, and LMT
Annette Nathan is an Integrative Manual Therapist and practitioner with nearly three decades of experience in hands-on, trauma focused care. Practicing since 1996, Annette brings a highly attuned presence, refined clinical skill, and a deep respect for the body’s intelligence to her work. Her approach prioritizes safety, choice, and nervous system regulation, creating a therapeutic environment where healing unfolds at the body’s own pace.
Her extensive training includes Hawaiian Lomilomi, Thai Yoga Massage, Reflexology, advanced Craniosacral Therapy, and Huna psycho-spiritual principles studies. Annette has studied Thai Yoga Massage since 2003 in both the United States and Chiang Mai, Thailand, and finds it to be a profoundly supportive modality for restoring mobility, easing chronic pain, and addressing conditions rooted in stress, trauma, and dysregulation.
After relocating to the Boulder area in 2011, Annette practiced within a chiropractic setting, treating patients with whiplash, spinal, and vertebral injuries. This work deepened her clinical understanding of post-traumatic soft tissue injury and strengthened her capacity to work skillfully with the complexities of pain, compensation patterns, and nervous system reactivity. Through this experience, her work evolved toward a more integrative, neuro-sensitive model of care.
In recent years, Annette has focused primarily on advanced Craniosacral Therapy. Although her training began early in her career, a personal cervical spine diagnosis that threatened to interrupt her practice catalyzed a concentrated and intuitive deepening of this modality. She has completed extensive coursework, including Somatic Emotional Release, Craniosacral Therapy for pediatrics and infants, work with the enteric nervous system and microbiome, Craniosacral Therapy and the Immune System and the integration of acupuncture meridians within Craniosacral Therapy.
Annette is highly skilled in the subtle practice of “listening in,” a foundational principle of Craniosacral Therapy that supports parasympathetic regulation, observes disruption to vagus nerve function, and nervous system resilience. Her work emphasizes collaboration with the body’s innate healing intelligence—often referred to as the *inner physician*—allowing natural rhythms and internal cues to guide the therapeutic process. Sessions are client-centered, consent-based, and responsive to the lived experiences held within the body.
In addition to her clinical work, Annette is a certified Master Circle Facilitator. Her women’s circles are designed as intentional, trauma-aware spaces that support women in reclaiming personal power, autonomy, community and sovereignty. Through facilitated dialogue, ritual, and embodied presence, these circles invite women to come forward with clarity, voice, and agency, fostering reconnection to self and community.
A native New Yorker, Annette lived in Miami prior to moving to Boulder in 2011. She previously owned and operated the Oneness Center for Pilates and Bodywork in Miami from 2001 to 2011 before leaving city life to embrace the grounding landscape and pace of the Rocky Mountains. Annette lives in Boulder with her husband John, Frankie the Corgi, and is the proud mother of two grown children and grandmother to two grandsons and one granddaughter.
