Private Yoga Sessions

Thoughtful one-on-one yoga designed to restore mobility, calm the nervous system, and support strength, balance, and resilience.

If you have ever felt that yoga classes move too fast, don’t account for your body’s history, or simply aren’t designed for where you are right now, private yoga is what you have been looking for.

At Boulder Bodyworks, private yoga sessions are taught by Renée Beshures, a movement educator with more than 40 years of experience in therapeutic movement, Pilates, bodywork, and somatics.  Every session is adapted to your unique structure, history, and goals. You move at your own pace, ask questions, and develop a real understanding of how your body works, not just how to follow along.

A Different Kind of Yoga

Private yoga at Boulder Bodyworks is informed by decades of study in movement education, manual therapy, Pilates, fascia-focused anatomy, and the Franklin Method of experiential anatomy and imagery. This broader perspective means sessions focus on how your body actually moves and organizes itself, rather than fitting you into a fixed sequence or style.

People who come here are typically looking for yoga that is thoughtful, therapeutic, and individualized. Many have tried group classes but found the pace too fast, had difficulty getting into certain positions, or needed more props, modifications, and individual support than a group setting can offer. Others are returning to movement after injury and need guidance they can trust.

Private Yoga can be especially helpful for:

—Back, neck, and shoulder pain
—Posture and mobility
—Nervous system regulation and stress relief
—Healthy aging, balance, and resilience
—Gentle return to movement after injury or illness
—Sleep challenges and anxiety
—Hip discomfort and movement restriction
